Naked Truth Nº93—Tālivaldis Gaumigs

Professor emeritus and the founder of the Design Department at the Art Academy of Latvia, recipient of the Order of the Three Stars Tālivaldis Gaumigs passed away this week. He was an educator whose high standards and enthusiasm for development of design culture, as well as his sense of humour were praised by colleagues and loved by his students. He believed that good design possesses a strong form, but great design — also the soul.
